Over nine months, in the unhurried intimacy of individual spiritual direction, we will move together through the full depth of the Spiritual Exercises of Ignatius of Loyola — adapted for women living full, ordinary, sacred lives. This is not a program you complete. It is a transformation you undergo.
The journey moves through four movements:
You are beloved. We begin at the foundation — the unshakeable love of God as the ground of your entire existence. Here we slow down long enough to let that love reach the places in you that have never quite believed it.
You are forgiven. We look honestly and tenderly at everything that has accumulated between you and God — not to condemn, but to clear. What is released here creates room for everything that follows.
You are not alone. We enter the life of Christ — not as observers, but as companions. We walk with Him through His ministry, His suffering, His death, and His resurrection. By the end of this movement, you will know Him differently than you do now.
You have a purpose. We listen together for the specific, particular call God is extending to you — not a generic calling, but the one with your name on it. The one that has been waiting for you to become free enough to receive it.
This is a woman-centered adaptation of the Spiritual Exercises, drawn from a rich contemplative lineage that has always made room for the voices, experiences, and wisdom of women — including the particular wisdom of Black women who have known God deeply in the middle of struggle, beauty, and resilience.
