Before the degrees, titles, and training, I was a lover of Jesus and a lover of the arts. More than 20 years later, I still believe in the power of both to transform our lives.
I believe that when a woman encounters God, begins to understand the depth of God's love for her, and becomes attentive to God's call upon her life, she has what she needs to heal, grow, and flourish. I also believe the arts can help us get there.
As a writer, theologian, and storyteller, I work at the intersection of life, faith, and the arts to create work that helps women encounter God, engage the work of their souls, and move faithfully toward the lives they are called to live. And, while much of my work begins on the page, it doesn't always stay there.
Through storytelling, dramatic presentations, retreats, formation experiences, and collaborations, I bring that work into rooms where women can encounter God, themselves, and one another.

As a dramatist, I create original characters and stories that invite audiences to reflect on their own lives and their relationship with God.
I also offer Storytelling Residencies, participatory experiences in which I help women explore and tell their own stories. Women are invited to face their past, become present to their lives now, and look toward the future as they consider what it means to heal, grow, and flourish.
This work has deep roots for me. Long before I had the language of artist-theologian, I experienced the power of writing and performing my own story through my one-woman show, Thank You for Staring, and then ministering to people afterward. That experience became foundational to the ministry I now bring into the room. -
I bring Scripture to life through dramatic presentations that invite audiences to encounter the Word through story and imagination. These presentations can stand alone or become part of a larger gathering that includes teaching, reflection, prayer, or conversation.

Contemplative retreats give women room to step away from the noise of everyday life and be with God. Through Scripture, stillness, silence, reflection, creative practice, and conversation, women are invited to encounter God's love, listen to what is stirring within them, and consider how God is inviting them to heal, grow, and flourish.

The creative life and the spiritual life don't have to live in separate rooms. These formation experiences give artists of faith space to nurture their relationship with God alongside their creative lives. Through contemplative and creative practices, artists attend to God, themselves, their craft, and the work they are bringing into the world.

I bring extensive knowledge and experience in the arts, theology, spiritual formation, and ministry, along with training in creative writing, spiritual direction, coaching, and transformational leadership. As an ordained minister of the Gospel, writer, theologian, and storyteller, I draw from this broad background to create experiences that meet the needs of the people in the room.
